Snail cream benefits are pretty huge, and it seems I am behind the eight ball on this one.
This is nothing new, apparently, it has been around for a few years now. Snail extract is unmistakably gaining a huge following when it comes to skin care.
If you haven’t heard of it before, it is because using snail slime on the skin has taken its time to make it onto the Western market. Countries such as Japan and Korea are using this method of skin care and have done for a while.
In fact, some spas will put live snails on your face and allow them free rein to slither around. By the same token, it is not recommended to run out to your back garden and dig up as many snails as you can. These are it seems not cleansed and not the kind used in skin care products.
To enjoy snail cream benefits look for a product that comprises mostly slime. If the product has this special ingredient listed towards the bottom don’t buy it.
You can find the slime from this little creature in facial masks, eye creams, serums, and moisturisers. Products containing the slime of snails is becoming a booming business as more people scramble to smear the promise of youthful looks onto their face.
Snail Cream Benefits
There is a collective opinion using something like this slime is the answer for beautiful skin. Am I convinced? No.
In our rush to bring back the youthful look of prepubescent, one it seems will try anything and spend ridiculous amounts of money. All for the guarantee of a dazzling complexion.
I am a woman, who likes to try lots of ways to keep herself feeling good and looking younger. Indeed I am wiser and thankfully not one to buy into hype any longer.
Yes, I certainly believe if you go out and get some slime and smear it on the snail cream benefits will initially work for you, and why not! Everything you try, new for your skin will definitely result in a smoother feel. Will it last is the question.
I have read some amazing reviews of what snail extract can do. However, mostly it is just someone trying to sell you a particular product.
There really is not a lot in the way of research to support many of the claims using slime from a snail.
Ingredients In Snail Extract
Two of the ingredients in the extract, slime, is collagen and hyaluronic acid. These two are its main selling point and people can relate to these two as they are in many anti aging products.
I do question how your skin would benefit from the collagen and hyaluronic acid offered in the slime. And if in fact, do these two ingredients penetrate the skin at all to offer any benefit? Also, how much of it would there be in any given amount of slime extract?
Hence, I can only imagine there would not be enough of these two ingredients to produce the desired effect we all long for.
Snail cream benefits I don’t think is the answer for helping the skin, stimulate collagen and hyaluronic acid. You would be better off spending your money on a really good cream containing all or most of the amino acids.
On the other hand, if you insist on buying a skin-care range with snail mucus. Make sure the product you buy does not have any added chemicals as I can only imagine this will negate any positive effects. The product should not contain any alcohol, parabens, or fragrance.
If like me, you use products on your skin, which are cruelty-free, then you may want to avoid this one. According to many articles I have read the life of the snail is left intact. It is though from what I understand put under undue stress to excrete more mucus.
Read this article from the ‘Financial Review‘ on the ethical practices of snail farming in Italy and how they care for and extract the slime.
When a snail slithers across the ground, the mucus excreted from the little creature is a protection. Guarding against damaging itself and harmful bacteria. Which is why we now feel the need to plaster it all over our faces and necks, hoping for a miracle.
I mean really if a snails bum can be protected, moisturised, and nourished by its own mucus. Then surely our faces can do with some too. Why not, let’s shove it into a product and market it and now we have snail cream benefits.
Health Benefits Of Snail Cream
Right, now we get down to all the good stuff smearing snail extract over your face and neck can supposedly do.

Well, I can’t comment on using snail essence on my skin, as I have not tried it and don’t intend too. I like what I am doing already for me and I really can’t see using this stuff making much of a difference.
If this is your cup of tea, then good luck, I hope it does everything for you it says it does. Please keep in mind though, when reading other people’s testimonials. Colourful words will not give you the skin you are after.
Of course, this is only my two cents worth!
Eat well, love yourself, drink bone broth, use natural oils on your face. Hopefully, you won’t get all hyped up about the snail cream benefits hype.
